The National Data Repository (NDR) contains vast amounts of Healthcare Data that must be easily, securely, & efficiently accessible to relevant stakeholders. Acknowledging the need for an enhanced NDR to maximize its functionality, National AIDS, Viral Hepatitis and STIs Control Programme (NASCP) , in collaboration with PHIS3 as the technical partner, organized a 5-day Stakeholder NDR Re-architecture Workshop.

This workshop which ran from the 4th to 8th December, 2023, encompassed various sessions, including meetings, discussions, & presentations. The sessions featured dynamic group discussions covering terminology service, infrastructure, & terminology stack, along with insightful plenaries that explored the future of the NDR. The re-architecture offers solutions to the challenge of constructing a national Healthcare data repository with known quality and completeness, accessible to relevant stakeholders. The workshop concluded with a commitment to develop solutions for implementing validation rules and logic at the EMR level to enhance data quality.
