Phis3Project in collaboration with the National AIDS and STDs Control Programme (NASCP) and other partners, conducted an in-depth x-ray of HIV Surveillance activities for FY23 during a 5-day workshop.
The focus was on a comprehensive review of HIV surveillance protocols—a significant step for public health progress! The workshop paved the way for various sessions, including the presentation on FY23 Implementation Update covering Mortality Surveillance, Recency Surveillance, and Case-Based Surveillance. It also introduced Early Warning Indicators for HIV Drug Resistance Surveillance.
The collaborative group work involved revising existing surveillance protocols, and plenary sessions provided a platform for the Recency Surveillance protocol review, fostering engaging discussions and feedback. Participants left the workshop equipped with valuable insights to further enhance and fortify HIV surveillance efforts!
