NigeriaQual is a national platform for bi-annual assessment of performance measures which spots program gaps for quality improvement interventions. But, this platform & the HIV program (QI TWG) activities have not been consistent in the last few years due to competing priorities.

From September 18 – 22, 2023, the Federal Ministry of Health (FMOH) with technical support from PHIS3 held a 4-day Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Technical Meeting with the objective of relaunching the NigeriaQual platform & the CQI TWG as well as reviewing the existing quality of care indicators & guidelines to align with best practice with the aim to promote & institutionalize a culture of continuous quality improvement within the HIV/AIDs program.
